## Description

M'Shoogy's Emergency Animal Rescue is a dedicated and compassionate brand, committed to saving the lives of abandoned, injured, and abused animals. Located in Savannah, Missouri, just 60 miles north of Kansas City, their 22-acre refuge serves as a safe haven for several hundred dogs, cats, and other animals in need. With a strict no-kill policy, M'Shoogy's provides a loving and nurturing home for animals of all ages and sizes. Each month, it costs approximately $50.00 to care for one animal, excluding medicine costs, and a staggering $500.00 per day to keep their doors open. In their incredible 19-year journey, they have rescued and saved over 15,000 animals from certain death. Founded by Gary and Lisa Silverglat, M'Shoogy's operates on a 24-hour commitment to the animals, without ever taking a salary for themselves. Their selfless dedication extends to a team of volunteers and employees who provide exceptional care and love for the animals. Additionally, M'Shoogy's actively contributes to wildlife rehabilitation, offering medical attention and food to various creatures until they can be reintroduced into the wild. They also provide educational tours and talks, advocating for the importance of treating animals with dignity and respect. M'Shoogy's Emergency Animal Rescue is open to the public for adoptions every Saturday from 12:00 p.m. Check their website for a list of available animals ready to find their forever homes. This brand has made a significant impact, even playing a role in the passing of permit laws and legislation against animal abuse. Their tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed, with media recognition from various outlets. M'Shoogy's is truly a force for good, providing second chances at life for abused and abandoned animals, and inspiring others to join their fight for animal welfare.
