Mid-South Health Systems is the leading non-profit community mental health center in Eastern Arkansas. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance, and for those without insurance, we offer a sliding scale fee scale. Serving 20 counties in Eastern Arkansas, we are part of a network of 20 community mental health centers that cover the entire state. Formerly known as George W.

Jackson, a state-operated center, we became a non-profit organization in 1997. In 2010, we merged with Counseling Service of Eastern Arkansas, expanding our services for children and adults across the region. Our comprehensive range of services includes Adult Outpatient Services, Child and Adolescent Services, Community Support Services, and Substance Abuse Treatment Services.
