Muslimin Trust Fund Association (MTFA) is Singapore's oldest registered Muslim charity, established in 1904. Initially dedicated to caring for the welfare of poor, underprivileged, and orphaned Muslims in Singapore, MTFA has grown to become a beacon of hope for countless individuals in need. Their mission is to develop a compassionate and supportive community, regardless of race, religion, or socio-economic background. MTFA offers a range of services and support to those in need. They provide financial aid, educational awards, parental support, medical assistance, and free burial services. Their subsidiaries, including MTFA Darul Ihsan Orphanages, MTFA Ihsan Kidney Care, and MTFA Ihsan Casket, further extend their reach to offer shelter for orphans, subsidised dialysis treatment for Muslims and non-Muslims, and affordable burials for all Muslims. Additionally, MTFA provides free burials for low-income Muslim households and unclaimed bodies, as well as scholarships and bursaries to support youths in accessing higher education. They also offer bi-monthly financial assistance to struggling families. With a history spanning over 119 years and serving over 1,300 families annually, MTFA continues to uphold their commitment to compassion, empathy, and service to the community.
