Montana Justice Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1979 to achieve equal access to justice for all Montanans. As the charitable arm of Montana's legal community, their mission is to provide effective funding and leadership in this pursuit. Over the years, the foundation has distributed more than $8 million to Montana's legal aid community through voluntary IOLTA revenues and individual funding.

The foundation offers grants and promotes pro bono services to support organizations like Montana Legal Services Association. They operate independently since 1997 when the board of directors made the foundation an independent organization with a new name, the Montana Justice Foundation. The foundation is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, composed of legal professionals from across the state.

They work tirelessly to ensure access to justice for all Montanans. Leading the organization is Alissa Chambers, the Executive Director. With her expertise as a former commercial attorney, she brings valuable experience in merger and acquisition transactions and private securities.
