## Description

MTLabs is an engineering studio founded by Marco Tomás, a Principal Platform Engineer, serving startups whose technology platforms need to scale. Drawing on experience building systems for banks, telecommunications companies and marketplaces, the studio brings disciplined platform engineering to growing teams without imposing unnecessary enterprise complexity. Its work helps startups improve delivery, security, cloud costs and developer experience while avoiding technical debt.

MTLabs offers three defined engagements: a one-to-two-week Platform Review, a four-to-eight-week Platform Foundation project, and quarterly Embedded Principal support. Services include cloud architecture, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security, observability, AI infrastructure, technical strategy and engineering leadership. Projects can establish repeatable deployments, documented infrastructure, secure access, operational visibility and paved paths that let engineers ship independently.

The studio also develops products originating in client work. These include Opsyron, focused on operational correlation, and Opsyron Security, designed to prioritize cloud-security actions according to risk, business impact and remediation needs. MTLabs works remotely from Lisbon and emphasizes practical, maintainable foundations that client teams can own and operate themselves.
