## Description

MTT Recycling Technologies Ltd. is a Canadian company founded in 2018 and based in Nisku, Alberta. It specializes in sustainable catalyst recycling and the recovery of valuable metals from industrial and mining waste, supporting Canada’s circular economy. MTT operates what it describes as Canada’s first facility for recycling spent refinery catalysts, using proprietary processes designed for near-zero environmental impact.

The company recovers metals including vanadium, nickel, molybdenum, tungsten, cobalt, and copper, and cleans and reconditions ceramic support balls for reuse. Its services also include preparing and arranging the export of precious-metal catalysts to refiners, with permits and logistics managed for customers. MTT provides rail and truck transportation for catalysts and waste materials across Canada.

Beyond catalyst recycling, the company is developing recovery processes for mining concentrates, mine and oilsands tailings, and other industrial residues. Its technology work includes hydrometallurgy, bioleaching, advanced sorting, and metal recovery, with a focus on strategic metals for energy, batteries, and high-tech industries.
