MTWB Foundation, also known as Make The World Better, is a brand that connects people and inspires stewardship through public space revitalization projects. Their mission is to create high-quality public spaces that offer safe outlets for recreation, sports, and arts-based activities, believing that communities thrive when everyone has access to these spaces. At MTWB, they believe in designing with and for the community.

They actively engage residents in all stages of their projects, from concept to construction to ongoing programming and maintenance. By involving the community, they establish a sense of ownership and strengthen neighborhoods. Established in 2013 by Connor Barwin and his mom during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, MTWB initially partnered with Urban Roots, a local nonprofit focused on mentoring youth, for their first two park revitalization projects.

Over time, this partnership grew stronger, leading to a merger between the two organizations, with Urban Roots' founder, Jeffrey Tubbs, becoming a Co-Founder at MTWB. MTWB brings together various resources, including city government, sports franchises, foundations, local businesses, and community members, to revitalize public spaces. Their impactful work has been featured in notable publications, such as The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Magazine.
