## Description

Muay Thai on the Brain is a personal blog by Melissa Ray, a Muay Thai enthusiast writing about the sport and its culture, particularly in Thailand. Through articles, interviews, reviews, guest posts, and short video features, the blog explores fighters, training, bouts, and major events. Posts highlight athletes such as Jomhod Eminent Air and Neungthep Eminent Air, as well as venues and institutions including Lumpinee and Rajadamnern boxing stadiums. The site also covers Muay Thai traditions, including the wai kru ritual, and discusses women in the sport through topics such as Muay Ying and gender. Alongside fight coverage, readers will find observations on life in Bangkok and Thailand, event reports, photography and media references, and occasional writing on psychology, health, and related issues. The blog offers an individual’s perspective rather than presenting itself as a gym, promoter, or commercial service. Visitors can browse its archives and themed categories, follow updates by email or Twitter, and explore links to other blogs and resources about Muay Thai, Thailand, and related subjects.
