## Description

Muddy Kids is a New Zealand outdoor play and education provider that creates safe, supervised spaces for children to explore, learn and play. Its approach encourages children to make up their own games, follow their curiosity and spend time in nature without devices or excessive adult direction. The brand sees play as important to children’s emotional, physical and social development, and supports independence by giving them room to plan their activities. Educators build relationships with children and work with low staff-to-child ratios of 1:8.

Muddy Kids offers one-day forest school programmes, weekly outdoor freeplay in Riverhead, Long Bay and Lake Pupuke, holiday play days at Long Bay Regional Park, and overnight camps with day-stay options. Its programme offerings also include play activations and teen programmes. Activities take place outdoors in a range of weather, with nature and the surrounding environment providing opportunities for discovery and real-life learning. Through its programmes, Muddy Kids invites children to play, explore and get muddy while developing confidence, curiosity and a connection with the natural world.
