## Description

Multicoin Capital is a thesis-driven investment firm focused on cryptocurrencies, tokens, and blockchain companies with the potential to reshape large markets. Founded in 2017, the firm makes long-term, high-conviction investments across public and private markets on behalf of sophisticated families, foundations, endowments, and institutional investors. Its investment strategy is delivered through two funds. The Master Fund is a thematic, long-oriented hedge fund that invests predominantly in tokens and seeks strong absolute returns over a long time horizon through asset selection across market cycles. It participates in public markets, direct investments, and strategic sales. The Venture Fund partners with crypto entrepreneurs and backs early-stage companies and founders, with investments ranging from $1 million to $50 million. Multicoin is deploying its third venture fund, a $422 million vehicle raised in January 2022. The firm also shares research and perspectives through its Insights publication, covering topics such as decentralized finance, digital assets, blockchain protocols, and crypto markets. Its website provides information about its portfolio, investment approach, policy work, and career opportunities.
