## Description

The Musée Postal is a museum in Paris dedicated to the history of postal communication and the many ways people have exchanged messages. Through its collections and exhibitions, it explores correspondence, mail transport, stamps and the people who create and preserve postal heritage. Visitors can discover the story of messages from ancient times to the emergence of the modern postal worker, as well as philatelic collections and the craft of engraved stamps.

The museum presents permanent displays, temporary exhibitions and special projects, including photography and contemporary artistic interpretations of historical correspondence. Its program also features guided tours, family activities, creative writing sessions and workshops such as Mail Art, welcoming audiences from children and families to adults and researchers. Some activities connect the museum’s collections with architecture, Paris and broader cultural themes.

Located on Boulevard de Vaugirard, the museum also offers a shop with items related to postal history and current exhibitions, both on site and online.
