Music City Mystique is a world-renowned theatrical percussion ensemble based in Nashville, Tennessee, also known as the music capital of the world. Competing under the governing organization Winter Guard International (WGI), they have earned the prestigious title of eight-time World Champion. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth organization, Music City Mystique offers a positive and educational activity for young musicians.

The ensemble consists of approximately forty performing members aged between fourteen and twenty-two. To support the organization's operations, members are required to pay dues. Directed by Josh Nelson, Music City Mystique believes that creative adaptability is the key to their consistent success year after year.

The story of Music City Mystique begins in 1994, during the early days of WGI Indoor Percussion. Back then, drumlines and front ensembles competed in school cafeterias and auditoriums, dressed in marching band uniforms. Inspired by early competitors in Nashville, Alan Rice recognized the need for an independent class in the competition.

Since then, Music City Mystique has continued to grow and evolve, representing the large talent pool in the region
