## Description

Musician Health Resource (MHR) is a brand dedicated to supporting and empowering musicians to achieve better physical and mental health. With the belief that musicians deserve to pursue education and performance without limitations, MHR provides tools for awareness, prevention, and recovery.

Studies have shown that a significant number of professional musicians experience pain that directly affects their performance, and the rate of Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI's) among musicians is comparable to that of athletes. MHR aims to tackle these issues through various avenues.

Their weekly podcast features interviews with experts in music, medicine, physical therapy, and mental health. Their online store offers recovery and strength-training tools to help musicians live a life with less pain and more music. Additionally, MHR provides workshops, lectures, and master classes to enhance physical and mental practices for musicians.

Their blog provides easy reads and valuable links, summarizing podcast episodes, and offering resources for help. And on social media, MHR shares bite-sized information, quotes, statistics, inspiration, and quick tips.

Founded by Karen Hall, a professional cellist who experienced multiple repetitive strain injuries, MHR aims to spread awareness and support the music community in overcoming mental and physical pain. By training like athletes, musicians can prevent pain and repetitive stress injuries, allowing them to play their music with joy and less limitation.
