## Description

**Mutual Aid LA Network (MALAN)** is a dedicated information hub and connector for mutual aid efforts across Los Angeles, especially in response to the January 2025 fires and wind storms. The organization empowers local communities by maintaining a comprehensive resource library, which is regularly updated with opportunities for volunteering and donations. MALAN promotes community solidarity and is driven by the vision of a liberated and abundant world.

Offering an array of projects such as "Produce in the Park" and "Hygiene Hello!", MALAN connects individuals with local mutual aid groups that match their interests, skills, and availability through an innovative Group Listings Directory. The network also manages The Dispatch, providing up-to-date information on volunteer and aid needs.

Committed to transparency and engagement, MALAN welcomed donations that sustain their initiatives and facilitate the redistribution of resources to those in need. Stay connected and informed by following them on social media for ongoing updates and involvement opportunities.
