## Description

Midwest Power Systems (MPS) designs and builds water and wastewater infrastructure for communities and organizations across Michigan, northern Ohio, Indiana, and the broader Midwest. Founded in 1971 and based in Pontiac, Michigan, the company has delivered more than 200 treatment plants, bringing over five decades of experience to complex public infrastructure projects. Now part of Lee Civil, the civil division of Lee Contracting, MPS combines specialized treatment-system expertise with broader construction resources.

MPS offers both general contracting and design-build delivery, working with municipalities, utilities, engineers, agencies, developers, and industrial clients. Its services include new water and wastewater treatment plant construction, plant additions and upgrades, lift and pump station construction and rehabilitation, emergency repairs, pressure-reducing valve pits, flow meter installation, and ongoing inspection and maintenance programs. The company supports projects from planning and construction through commissioning, with attention to regulatory requirements, documentation, schedules, and long-term facility performance. When projects also need earthwork, site development, or underground utilities, Lee Civil capabilities can be coordinated with MPS’s treatment infrastructure work.
