## Description

Max Böck is a professional front-end developer based in Vienna, Austria, and co-founder of Codista, a software studio. His personal website introduces his work and brings together writing and notes about the web. Through his blog and other contributions, Böck explores practical questions in front-end development, including how to build modern websites with fewer tools, make better use of evolving CSS features, and improve performance across different connection speeds.

Featured articles cover buildless development, container queries, web components, media queries, and the changing possibilities of the early web. He also writes about the IndieWeb and alternatives to mainstream social media, with an interest in making online spaces accessible to people without technical knowledge. Alongside these technical topics, his site offers lighter experiments, such as a color theme switcher inspired by Mario Kart 64 and a comparison of different versions of the Space Jam website.

Visitors can browse his posts, notes, and information about his work, as well as find links to his social profiles, GitHub, RSS feed, and Codista.
