## Description

My BabySteps is a pediatric early-intervention and developmental support practice led by Cindy Baker, MA, CLE, an infant and toddler development specialist with more than 30 years of experience. Based in the Carlsbad area and also serving Solana Beach, the practice works with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families. Cindy’s background includes hospital, clinic, home, and private-practice settings, with experience supporting premature and medically fragile babies and children with developmental, sensory, feeding, motor, and communication challenges.

My BabySteps offers developmental assessments and evaluations, consultations, developmental therapy, language enrichment, and preschool-readiness support. Assessments can cover cognition, gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, language, social-emotional development, behavior, self-help, and feeding. Services are tailored to each child’s needs and goals, with progress monitoring and practical suggestions for families to use in everyday routines. The practice emphasizes playful, supportive learning and treats parents and family members as important partners in intervention. My BabySteps also offers a complimentary consultation for families bringing home a baby from the NICU.
