## Description

MYA is a German digital prescription service offered by the apodiscounter pharmacy, designed to make repeat prescriptions and medication delivery more convenient. Through its free app, users can select their regular doctor’s practice and medication, then send a prescription request securely to their physician. The practice decides whether to approve and issue the prescription; once approved, users can access it in the app and have their medication delivered to their home at no charge.

MYA is intended primarily for repeat prescriptions, including medicines used for ongoing conditions such as high blood pressure or thyroid disorders. The app also provides prescription status updates and checks requests for potential drug interactions. MYA says it works with practices throughout Germany, including those that do not actively use the service, and is available to people with statutory or private health insurance.

The service emphasizes encrypted, GDPR-compliant handling of requests and says it does not permanently store sensitive health data. The app can be downloaded free from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
