## Description

Privacy Software Design is a software brand focused on building useful apps that treat personal data as personal. Its approach centers on minimizing collection: apps require no account, include no advertising or tracking, and are designed to keep information on the user’s device rather than sending it to the company. The brand says data is encrypted locally and emphasizes clear, readable privacy policies, documented encryption, and openness to security review.

Its first app, Alivenia, is available for iOS and Android and is free to download. It is a cycle and symptom tracker that supports quick symptom logging, cycle predictions, health insights, PDF report exports, and encrypted backups. The app uses AES-256 encryption on the device and does not require an account or cloud storage. Privacy Software Design describes cycle and fertile-window predictions as statistical estimates; Alivenia is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

The company is considering another app but has not announced details.
