## Description

ChopDrop is an ethnic grocery delivery platform being developed by Johly Media Ltd, with a planned launch across the UK. It aims to connect customers with local stores offering traditional ingredients from African, Caribbean, South Asian, East Asian, Eastern European and other food communities. Through its web service and mobile app, customers will be able to browse participating shops, select groceries and arrange delivery to their door.

The service is designed to make heritage cooking more convenient, helping people find ingredients for dishes such as jollof, jerk, biryani, kimchi, pierogi, pastéis de nata, nyama choma and dim sum. ChopDrop says it will offer authentic products sourced from community stores, with order updates from placement through delivery.

ChopDrop is also inviting merchants to list their shops and reach more customers, and is seeking couriers who want to earn on a flexible schedule by bicycle, scooter or car. The platform is currently promoting a waitlist and early access ahead of its UK launch.
