## Description

MyDermaCare is an online dermatology service in Portugal that connects patients with dermatologists for concerns affecting the skin, hair and nails. Patients complete a confidential questionnaire and submit photographs, usually in about five minutes, or choose to book a video consultation. A dermatologist reviews the information and provides a medical report and treatment plan, typically within 24 hours; an urgent service offers an average response time of six hours, including weekends. The service covers general dermatology, acne and rosacea, paediatric dermatology, hair loss and dermatologist-recommended skincare routines. Consultations start at €60, while skincare consultations cost €90 and urgent dermatology costs €100. After a consultation, patients can message their dermatologist, access previous reports and consultation records, and submit new requests through the patient area. MyDermaCare says more than 96% of assessed cases did not require an in-person referral. The service is delivered by dermatologists in Portugal and offers insurance-related information. MyDermaCare is not a pharmacy and does not sell medicines; prescriptions depend on the dermatologist’s clinical assessment.
