## Description

DigitalParents is a social-impact crowdfunding platform and proprietary initiative of The Emah Foundation, a registered nonprofit organization. It connects donors with underserved African children who need financial support to remain in school, with the goal of making education more accessible across Africa. The platform addresses school fees as a key barrier to education, particularly in Nigeria, and offers a structured way for individuals and groups to contribute.

DigitalParents provides verified student profiles so sponsors can learn about the children they support and choose a student to sponsor. Contributions can cover school fees in full or be shared through co-funding. Donations go directly to schools, while sponsors receive updates such as thank-you messages, videos, impact reports, and information on academic progress. Group sponsorship is available for churches, alumni networks, and teams. The site also provides guidance for student applications and answers common questions for parents, students, and sponsors. DigitalParents aims to support access to quality education and reduce inequality, inviting people and communities to help keep children in school.
