## Description

My Epileptic Pet is an educational resource created by TVM UK, the trading name of TVM UK Animal Health Ltd, to support owners of dogs and cats living with epilepsy. Drawing on the company’s expertise in animal epilepsy, the website offers practical guidance for understanding the condition and managing its challenges in daily life. Its information covers possible causes, signs, seizure types and treatment for both dogs and cats, alongside advice on feeding, behaviour, travel, training, pregnancy, anaesthesia and vaccinations. Pet owners can also find guidance on what to do during a seizure, including when to contact a veterinarian, and learn how to record seizures to help inform veterinary care. The site provides a downloadable seizure diary, frequently asked questions and resources such as an owner’s guide to understanding epilepsy. My Epileptic Pet emphasizes that epilepsy requires veterinary diagnosis and ongoing management, and that its content does not replace a consultation. It encourages owners to work closely with their veterinarian on treatment and care decisions.
