# My Food Fear - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `myfoodfear.com` ## Description My Food Fear is an educational and peer-support website focused on avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), also known as selective eating disorder or food phobia. Founded by Adam, who describes his own experience living with severe ARFID for 37 years, the site offers a first-person perspective alongside information about the condition’s causes, diagnosis, and treatment. Its approach emphasizes empathy, understanding, acceptance, and education, recognizing that ARFID is not a conscious choice and that each person’s experience is different. Visitors can explore regularly updated articles on the ARFID blog, read personal stories, and connect with others through the ARFID forum and Facebook community. The website also provides resources for people who want support in working toward eating better, while affirming those who are not ready or do not wish to pursue change. My Food Fear features Adam’s ARFID memoir and self-help program, with further details available on the site. Overall, it aims to inform people affected by ARFID and help them feel less isolated and better understood. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Mental Health _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/myfoodfear) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOWo1_Zmb/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791095709115) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOWo1_Zmb/w/800/h/800/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791095709347) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Selective Yellow | #fcb900 | accent | | Olive | #767100 | dark | | Anakiwa | #9af3fb | light | ## Fonts - Lora — asset _(google)_ - Alegreya Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
