## Description

MyForest Foods is a food company producing whole-cut alternatives from organic oyster mushroom mycelium. Its products bring the fibrous texture and versatility of familiar meats to everyday meals. The mycelium grows into intact sheets that are then sliced, seasoned, or marinated. The range includes MyBacon, a smoky, savory slice that crisps in a skillet; MyPork, tender shreds for tacos, sliders, and sauced dishes; and MySteak, marinated, thinly sliced pieces suited to a hot pan or cheesesteaks. MyForest also offers MyChips, whole-cut mushroom chips fried crisp in avocado oil.

The company grows mycelium on farm racks with mist and airflow, forming interwoven sheets whose structure provides bite. MyBacon’s listed ingredients include organic oyster mushroom mycelium, organic coconut oil, organic sugar, natural flavor, and salt. MyForest Foods shares cooking guidance and recipes through its Test Kitchen and helps customers locate products in stores or buy MyBacon online. The brand’s story connects to its founder’s family experience raising pigs, and it now sources mycelium from a Pennsylvania mushroom farm.
