My Green Lab is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the sustainability of scientific research. We bring together scientists, vendors, designers, and energy providers to promote social and environmental responsibility in laboratory environments. Our goal is to create a global culture of sustainability in science by developing standards, overseeing their implementation, and inspiring behavioral changes throughout the scientific community.

Through our programs, we help people rethink traditional approaches and identify new, more sustainable methods in their work. By gathering data on sustainable best practices, we provide the scientific basis for making impactful changes in lab culture. Our efforts have been recognized by prestigious organizations such as the Department of Human Health and Services and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories.

With over 900 certified lab groups and numerous collaborations with scientists worldwide, we are making great strides in transforming lab culture. We aim to have every lab become a green lab by 2030, and our work has already inspired companies to design and package products with sustainability in mind.
