## Description

My Kind of Midwife provides private midwifery care for women and families planning their journey into parenthood. Serving Melbourne’s South East, the Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland, the service offers care in clients’ homes, helping create a calm and familiar setting for pregnancy, labour and birth. The midwife works closely with each family to understand and support their birthing wishes.

Care is designed to provide continuity, with a known midwife serving as the primary contact and provider throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. Home visits can include check-ups, education and care, with family members and other chosen support people able to be present. As an endorsed midwife, the provider can order relevant ultrasounds, tests and medicines.

My Kind of Midwife also shares information about the potential benefits of planning a homebirth, including reported outcomes related to birth experience, vaginal birth and breastfeeding. Women and families interested in learning more can contact Renee for a conversation about the service and their needs.
