MY Museum, also known as the Monterey County Youth Museum, is a nonprofit organization located in Monterey, California. The museum provides an environment that fosters curiosity and creativity, allowing both children and adults to experience the joy of lifelong learning. Since its establishment in 1997 as a Junior League project, MY Museum has been dedicated to offering children an unparalleled learning experience.

After its initial success, MY Museum moved to a larger facility in downtown Monterey in 2008, following a successful four-year capital campaign. The museum now spans approximately three times the size of its previous location and features nine gallery areas with over 50 exhibits. Each gallery is designed to represent the key industries that make Monterey County unique, providing an interactive and educational experience for visitors of all ages.

MY Museum is staffed by a team of dedicated professionals, including Executive Director Lauren Cohen and Office Manager Rebecca Alderson. The museum also has a committed Board of Directors, which includes individuals from various fields such as law, healthcare, and real estate. Located at 425 Washington Street, MY Museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm.
