## Description

Animal Adoption League is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization based in Charlotte, NC, serving the Greater Charlotte area and upstate South Carolina. Established in 1992 by a compassionate group of individuals, their mission is to provide veterinary care and temporary-to-permanent housing for homeless and rescued animals. They are committed to finding the best adoptive situation for these animals and educating the public about the importance of reducing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs and overall animal welfare. Animal Adoption League offers a wide range of services and opportunities to make a difference. They have a variety of adoptable pets, including cats and dogs, all of whom are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. They also host events throughout the year, with their annual Love Lights Luminaria walk being a highlight. Additionally, they offer holiday wreaths for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to support animals in need. If you're passionate about animal welfare, Animal Adoption League provides various ways to get involved, including volunteer opportunities in areas such as adoption events, transportation, administrative work, and pet photography. They also welcome foster homes for homeless animals. By supporting Animal Adoption League, you're helping to save lives and contribute to a compassionate and humane treatment of animals.
