## Description

My Old Ohio Home is a family history website by Ed Hamilton, focused on exploring people, places, and connections through genealogy and historical research. Its articles trace individuals and families across Ohio, Pennsylvania, New England, and other regions, drawing on topics such as family records, migration, and DNA. The site also features research into postal covers and correspondence, using letters and postcards to shed light on the people who sent and received them. Stories connect places as varied as Cleveland, Kilkeel, Maine, Rhode Island, and Philadelphia, and often investigate the lives behind a name or historical document. Alongside its family history material, the blog occasionally covers technology and updates to its own articles. Readers can browse posts by category, archive, or tag, including collections related to surnames, locations, and research themes. My Old Ohio Home presents genealogy as an ongoing investigation, sharing findings and questions with readers interested in family histories and historical correspondence. The site’s content is published under a Creative Commons license.
