The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization that has been representing the business community of the Grand Strand for over 80 years. With the support of more than 2,200 businesses and nonprofit organizations, our mission is to promote, protect, and improve business in the Myrtle Beach area. The chamber serves a wide range of areas, including Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Little River, and many more.

We have three primary functions: to promote, protect, and improve business. We serve as the primary destination marketing organization, promoting the tourism industry both locally and out-of-market. We also provide opportunities for businesses to promote themselves to visitors, residents, and other businesses.

Additionally, we seek to influence legislation and regulation that impact businesses, supporting beneficial legislation and opposing unnecessary restrictions. Lastly, we offer programs and services that assist businesses and individuals in improving their operations. Our vision is to be a world-class organization that thrives on continuous improvement, providing exceptional results through service, innovation, community leadership, and collaboration.
