Their mission is to enhance the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities by fostering lasting, authentic relationships through the teamwork environment of endurance athletics. They believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of crossing the finish line. myTEAM TRIUMPH chapters invest in specialized race equipment, recruit volunteers, facilitate trainings, and provide race day support, allowing people of diverse abilities to come together as a team in endurance events.

By participating in these events, individuals gain increased self-confidence, a greater sense of purpose, and become part of more inclusive communities. Starting in 2008 as a way for the Grand Rapids running community to give back, myTEAM TRIUMPH has grown into a national movement with chapters in 18 states across the US, operating programs in 36 local communities. They are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, making tax-deductible contributions possible.
