## Description

Mythgard Institute is a renowned research center and a part of Signum University. Their primary focus is on promoting and exploring the world of fantasy, science fiction, and other speculative literature. With an array of open-access, educational programs and events, Mythgard Institute offers a space for enthusiasts to engage in academic content in an accessible way. One of their flagship programs is Exploring The Lord of the Rings, where participants can join Dr. Corey Olsen, also known as The Tolkien Professor, for a sentence-by-sentence journey through Tolkien's epic fairy story. They also offer a unique opportunity to delve into Middle-earth through the magical game-world of Lord of the Rings Online. Additionally, Mythgard Institute's Mythgard Academy provides in-depth seminars on fantasy and science fiction works, curated by their donors. Moreover, they have the Mythgard Miscellany, a platform for sharing and celebrating works of fantasy beyond Middle-earth. For avid fans of J.R.R. Tolkien, the Silmarillion Film Project offers a hypothetical discussion on turning the legendary book into a TV series. Join the Mythgard Institute community to explore the depths of fantasy, engage in insightful discussions, and celebrate the creativity of the speculative fiction genre.
