## Description

Naas AFC is a community football club based at Caragh Road in Naas, County Kildare, serving more than 900 players across boys’, girls’, Academy and senior football. Its inclusive pathway welcomes young players from age five, whether they are learning the game or aiming to compete. Children aged 5–11 can develop through the non-competitive Academy, which uses fun, small-sided games to build skills and confidence. The Sunday morning Academy introduces younger players, aged 5–8, to movement, ball skills and teamwork. From under-12 level, teams compete in the KDUL across Premier, Major and Cup competitions.

The club supports its players with volunteer coaches, including UEFA-licensed coaches, and offers subsidised workshops to help volunteers gain FAI and UEFA qualifications. It also provides coaching resources, awards ceremonies and club facilities. Naas AFC reports having more than 140 volunteer coaches, all fully vetted and safeguarded, and received the FAI Club Mark in 2025. Families can register interest in joining, while supporters can take part in the weekly club lotto, which helps fund facilities.
