NABR, the National Association for Biomedical Research, is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating sound public policy for the ethical and essential use of animals in biomedical research. With over 40 years of experience, NABR works to safeguard the future of biomedical research by raising awareness about the vital role animals play in scientific advancements. NABR serves as a unified voice for the scientific community, engaging in dialogue with congressional delegations on animal research issues. They facilitate the development of common positions on legislative and regulatory matters and provide their members with information and consultation on state and local issues. In addition to advocating for animal research, NABR is committed to supporting the humane care and treatment of laboratory animals. They work towards preserving the abilities of biomedical researchers to ethically and responsibly use animals in their work. If you are passionate about the advancement of biomedical research and the welfare of laboratory animals, NABR offers membership opportunities and ways to get involved.
