# NABU Walldorf - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nabu-walldorf.de` ## Description NABU Walldorf is the Walldorf branch of the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union of Germany, working in the Rhine-Main area near Frankfurt Airport. Its mission is to protect nature and preserve places where wildlife and people can find refuge. The organization’s work covers a range of local habitats and species, including orchards, the Nasses Tal nature area, a nature and bird trail, bats, birds of prey, swallows, and insects. Projects include maintaining orchards, protecting nesting sites, creating mud puddles for swallows, and caring for willow habitats. NABU Walldorf also supports citizen science and nature education, with activities such as bird counts and learning about the Bird of the Year. Throughout the year, it offers guided walks and other events, including birdwatching, bird-song walks, bat evenings, and seasonal nature outings. People can get involved through project groups, campaigns, the youth organization NAJU, or volunteer programs such as FÖJ and BFD. The branch welcomes visitors at activities and its open hut, and accepts donations to support its conservation work. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/nabuwalldorf) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idp2K4bifd/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793115740412) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Endeavour | #0068b4 | accent | | Midnight Blue | #003664 | dark | | Mona Lisa | #fc9e90 | light | ## Fonts - Source Sans Pro — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
