## Description

The National Airports Corporation (NAC) operates 22 national airports across Papua New Guinea, connecting communities and supporting the movement of people and goods. Established in 2009, NAC aims to provide safe, secure and efficient airport services, guided by international standards and a commitment to improving passenger journeys. Its flagship gateway is Port Moresby’s Jacksons International Airport, while its network also includes Nadzab, Madang, Goroka, Wewak and other regional airports.

NAC’s services span airport operations, commercial services, engineering and project management, and information and communications technology. The corporation also supports aviation safety and security, including airport rescue and firefighting, safety oversight, and emergency readiness. Through development initiatives such as the Civil Aviation Development Investment Program and the redevelopment of Nadzab Airport into Nadzab Tomodachi International Airport, NAC invests in airport infrastructure and operational capability. Its longer-term vision is to develop smart, modern and sustainable airports, while exploring landside opportunities and improved passenger experiences.
