## Description

The National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG) is a national organization dedicated to raising awareness of the needs of children and teens who are grieving a death. It connects families, professionals, volunteers, and communities with resources and local support, guided by the belief that no child should grieve alone. Its resource library includes practical guides, conversation tips, toolkits, and information about childhood grief, alongside a directory for finding support centers, camps, and service providers. The NACG also offers professional education through events, webinars, a national symposium, and an archive of learning materials. Through its membership network, the organization promotes best practices and resources that support the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of grieving children and those who care for them. Its awareness and advocacy work includes campaigns, data and statistics, and information about childhood bereavement. The NACG also administers the Grief Reach grant program, which supports organizations expanding local bereavement services for youth, with attention to unmet needs and diverse populations.
