## Description

**Brand Description: Nebenan.de Stiftung**

The Nebenan.de Stiftung is dedicated to celebrating and promoting neighborhood engagement across Germany through its prestigious Deutsche Nachbarschaftspreis (German Neighborhood Award). Annually, the foundation honors exemplary projects and initiatives that strengthen community ties and enhance local life, recognizing the vital role of volunteers and neighbors.

In 2024, the award ceremony brought together over 300 attendees to applaud 22 winning projects, distributing a total prize money of €59,000 to fuel further community endeavors. From April onwards, the foundation seeks new nominations for the next Deutsche Nachbarschaftspreis, encouraging innovative initiatives that foster livable neighborhoods and societal cooperation.

In addition to showcasing winners, the award process involves expert juries who carefully select up to 100 nominated projects for award consideration, while the celebratory ceremony in Berlin serves as a platform to honor grassroots efforts. The Nebenan.de Stiftung stands as a beacon for community-driven change, reinforcing the message that collective action can shape better living environments.
