At Nacr, we believe that part of the Good News brought by Christ is the understanding that we can all bring our problems of self into the community of Christ, and that His grace extends to both our hidden wounds and our faith. We encourage churches, ministry teams, and recovery professionals to explore what it means to obey Christ's commandments of love and community, as we support individuals seeking to recover their lives. As an organization, we offer workshops, conferences, and materials to groups and churches looking to inspire recovery within their communities. We also provide consultation services to assist groups in establishing, growing, or reviving their recovery communities. With a rich history starting in 1989, when we began a series of meetings that led to our formation, Nacr has grown along with the Christian recovery movement. We have embraced a more digital focus, allowing us to reach thousands of individuals through our daily email meditation and highly praised website resource for Christians in recovery. Under the leadership of our Executive Director, Teresa McBean, Nacr has expanded its national presence and organized various conferences and workshops across the country. Our website currently receives over 7,000 individual visitors each month, and our daily meditation is subscribed to by over 2,000 people. We continue to evolve and provide support, guidance, and resources to churches and individuals seeking to bring hope to those struggling with substance abuse.
