## Description

Nadace Křižovatka is a Czech non-profit foundation dedicated to raising awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and sharing information that can help protect babies’ lives. Its work focuses on safer sleep for newborns and infants, with a vision that every newborn has a breathing monitor in their cot. The foundation equips hospitals and maternity wards across the Czech Republic with breathing monitors and helps establish lending points so families can use the devices at home. Parents can borrow Babysense 2 PRO or Babysense II monitors for up to six months, with an option to extend the loan by a further three to six months. The CE-marked medical devices are regularly checked by an authorised service provider. Nadace Křižovatka also provides information about SIDS, infant resuscitation and monitor use, and shares updates, stories and event news. With 87 lending locations and more than 13,000 monitors supplied to hospitals, the foundation works with families and healthcare institutions to support infant safety and give parents greater peace of mind.
