Located in the Department of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery of the Children’s Heart Center, the foundation operates on over 300 children with congenital heart defects each year. They also provide individual assistance to patients with severe forms of congenital heart defects who undergo repeated and complex heart operations. In addition to surgical support, the foundation organizes special events for patients and their families, such as International Children’s Day, Nicholas Day, and Christmas carols with Lúčnica. The foundation has also created the Project As a Bell, which aims to increase successful prenatal diagnosis of heart diseases and raise awareness among mothers. To support their mission, 90% of the foundation's budget goes toward patient and department support, while the remaining 10% contributes to its operations. Donations from sponsors and 2% of tax funding help finance the foundation.
