# Nadační fond Karlov - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nadacnifondkarlov.cz` ## Description Švejcarův nadační fond dětem Karlov is a Czech charitable foundation established in 1994 by doctors at the Clinic of Paediatrics and Inherited Metabolic Disorders (KPDPM). It was created in honour of Professor Josef Švejcar, whose professional career included work at the former Foundling Hospital, now part of the Karlov Children’s Campus. In 1999, the organisation became a foundation fund under updated legislation. The fund supports KPDPM and seeks to strengthen both the professional quality and the human dimension of care for children.
