The National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC) is a dedicated organization that aims to advocate for engineering students and their respective schools across the nation. Established in 1983, NAESC serves as a communication platform for Engineering Student Councils from various universities in the United States, allowing them to exchange ideas and enhance their effectiveness as organizations. NAESC is committed to improving the overall engineering educational experience and supporting all engineering disciplines.

They achieve this by facilitating effective communication among member councils, promoting engineering education, organizing programs and events, and serving as a collective voice for engineering student councils. Their membership has grown significantly over the years, expanding from a few schools in the central United States to over fifty schools nationwide. Additionally, NAESC is actively working towards establishing professional relationships with esteemed organizations such as the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, and Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc.
