NAFSAN is a Namibian non-profit alliance focused on nutrition and food security, comprising civil society, academia, the private sector, and individuals. As part of a global movement, NAFSAN aims to eliminate malnutrition and achieve sustainable food security. Representing Namibia's Food and Nutrition Security Coordination Structure under the Prime Minister's Office, NAFSAN plays a crucial role in information sharing, networking, collaboration, and advocacy. The alliance is a member of the global Scaling up Nutrition (SUN) movement and actively contributes to the East & Southern Africa Nutrition Civil Society Networks. NAFSAN offers valuable resources, including the Namibian Resource Library, projects on permaculture and early childhood development, and initiatives like Nutrition-for-Health and home gardening. By becoming a member, individuals and organizations can benefit from NAFSAN's expertise, support, and advocacy for a healthier, more food-secure Namibia.
