## Description

Na het voorbij is a grief and loss counseling practice founded by Meta Blokland in Giessenburg, the Netherlands. It supports people adjusting to life after the death of someone they love, when grief, unanswered questions, changing relationships, and everyday challenges can make the future feel uncertain. The practice offers a compassionate space where clients can feel heard and understood, recognize their own strengths, and find practical guidance as they begin to move forward.

Meta draws on her personal experience of loss and her training in grief therapy and counseling. Her approach acknowledges that each person’s path through grief is different, while offering support to help clients find balance, ease the sharpness of pain, and make room for loving memories and renewed meaning. For those who wish, faith can also be a source of hope and reflection.

Na het voorbij provides counseling and invites visitors to arrange an introductory meeting. Its website also features a shop, a free e-book, Meet & Eat gatherings, and mini retreats, offering additional ways to engage with the practice and its work.
