## Description

Naijaid is a UK-registered charity dedicated to relieving sickness and preserving the health of people in Nigeria, Nigerians in the diaspora, and underserved communities elsewhere. It also operates in Africa as Health Aid Charity. The organisation works with local partners to improve access to healthcare through free medical services, professional training, public awareness, and practical support for health facilities.

Naijaid has delivered free medical, dental, and eye care to more than two million people over the past three years. Its programmes include medical outreach, first aid and healthcare professional training, and health education. The charity also supports community wellbeing through initiatives such as virtual fitness sessions for women over 50. To strengthen hospitals, it has donated 60 height-adjustable beds and other medical consumables to government facilities in Nigeria. Naijaid also organises healthcare conferences and collaborates with partners across Nigeria and other African countries. Donations and volunteers help sustain its work, which aims to equip practitioners and communities with life-saving skills and improve access to quality healthcare.
