## Description

Najstarejša trta is a wine, heritage and cultural destination in Maribor, Slovenia, centered on a grapevine more than 450 years old. Recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s oldest vine, it has grown in the city’s Lent district beside the Drava River for centuries. The site welcomes visitors to explore the story of the vine and the region’s winemaking traditions through guided experiences, exhibitions and events.

Its modern wine shop features more than 200 carefully selected labels from over 50 Styrian wine brands, making it a destination for discovering wines from the region. Visitors can book guided tastings of three or five Styrian wines, served with local culinary bites, or sample spirits such as vermouth, grape marc brandy and wine brandy. The tasting space showcases artworks and a 35-metre mosaic inspired by Maribor’s history and the Drava River.

Najstarejša trta also hosts festivals and other gatherings throughout the year. Located at Vojašniška ulica 8, it offers visitors a welcoming place to experience local wine, history and culture.
