NALGAP, the Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Addiction Professionals and Their Allies, is a membership organization founded in 1979. It works to prevent and treat alcoholism, substance use, and other addictions in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer communities. Its mission includes confronting oppression and discrimination in service delivery and advocating for programs that affirm all genders and sexual orientations.

NALGAP supports addiction and health professionals, people in recovery, and others concerned about the health of gender and sexual minorities. The organization provides information, training, networking, and advocacy, and shares resources on LGBTQ-inclusive and affirmative treatment, substance use services, and recovery. Members can receive a free listing in the NALGAP Member Directory, helping connect people with relevant professionals and services.

Through events, articles, guides, and its Center of Excellence initiative, NALGAP promotes improved, normalized, and empowered experiences for LGBTQ people in treatment and recovery communities.
