## Description

Nal'ibali is a national reading-for-enjoyment campaign in South Africa that aims to spark children's potential through storytelling and reading. With a focus on cultivating a culture of reading from birth to 12 years of age, Nal'ibali promotes the use of home languages to nurture and strengthen children's reading skills. By providing enticing reading content in various South African languages, Nal'ibali encourages children to engage more with reading and develop important literacy skills. Research has shown that children who develop strong relationships with books and reading materials early on are more likely to adopt and sustain a culture of reading. Nal'ibali offers a wide range of resources, including written and audio stories, activity sheets, and campaign materials, to support children's reading journey. The organization also collaborates with schools, communities, and literacy volunteers to create a lifetime love of stories and books for all children.
